Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounting
Play a pivotal role in managing the company's tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all tax returns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review of accounting transactions to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards as well as company's accounting policy.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements and management reports.
- Work closely with other departments/section to ensure smooth operation and accurate accounting entries.
- Review and identify transaction with tax implications.
- Ensure timely preparation of tax return and full compliance to tax regulations.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agent, bankers and local authorities.
- Monitor funds flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity on daily basis.
- Handle banking facilities and ensure full compliance to Bank Negara Malaysia's policy.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably with professional membership (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 8~10 years of experience in corporate account, finance and tax.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend solutions effectively.
- Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders
